Dr. Binns has been a Kansas Citian since 2009 which is why she refers to it as “home.” She spent a large portion of her life growing up overseas, spending a year in Switzerland followed by seven years in Penang, Malaysia. These experiences gifted her a unique view of vastly different cultures from a young age.
Despite living abroad, she knew by the age of seven that it was her dream to become a dentist once returning Stateside. After graduating high school, she made the move from St. Louis to attend UMKC where she majored in Chemistry with a Psychology minor. She then made her dream a reality when she graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry in 2017.
Along her journey at UMKC, she met her husband. Their greatest passion is traveling and exploring new places both domestic and abroad. Photographing the memories is a must. One can expect to find them enjoying a Saturday morning espresso while supporting a local KC coffee shop.
